What to Expect as a First-Time Guest
Our desire is that this website will introduce you to much of the life and ministry we enjoy together here at Corinth. Of course, the best way to learn some of the the great things God is doing here is to be our guest for one of our worship services.
At Corinth, we are a diverse group of people with different backgrounds, talents, personalities, and interests. We understand that worshiping God “in spirit and truth” is not confined to one particular style. Therefore, we seek to honor God by utilizing both timeless and fresh expressions of truth. Our concern is not whether you wear a suit & tie or blue jeans, it is that you would come to know and love Jesus Christ.
Our Sunday morning worship service begins promptly at 10:45 a.m. Parking for guests is conveniently located just outside the side entrance of our worship center and one of our greeters will be there to help you find exactly where you need to be. Loving, skilled childcare is available each week for ages birth-3 years, in our secure preschool area. Of course, young children are always welcomed to stay in the worship service.
During our service, we focus on knowing and loving God by hearing and obeying His Word, the Bible. Each service begins with our passage of Scripture for the morning and then contains several opportunities for worshipers to respond to that Word in song, prayer, giving, fellowship, and hearing and applying the Word taught by our pastor. Our service normally lasts about an hour and fifteen minutes.
Our worship service is preceded by Sunday School, a small-group environment where you can meet and learn with people just like you. We have classes for all ages and life situations, and class sizes range from a handful of people up to 20-30. Sunday School begins at 9:30 a.m.
As a first time guest, we would like to invite you to our Guest Reception which is held following every Sunday morning worship service. Here you will have an opportunity to meet our staff, have answered any questions you may have about our church, as well as receive a free gift we have prepared as our way of saying “Thank you for worshiping with us.”
